Membership of the library at ITT Dublin is automatically open to all registered students on ITT Dublin courses, and you can begin using the library the day after you register.

Membership is also available to all ITT Dublin staff, by coming into the library with your staff details you can be set up to use all the library's facilities.

Other types of membership are also available but do not have the same level of access to all facilities due to licensing and copyright provisions.

These include:

Alumni

Membership of the library at ITT Dublin is open to Alumni. An annual membership fee of €25 applies. As an Alumni you may access the library facilities and are entitled to borrow 2 items of library materials for 3 weeks. The library may be used for study and research purposes, and all material may be viewed within the library building.
Please note that under the terms of our user licenses with publishers, some electronic resources are not available to alumni.

 

External Reader

As an external reader you may access the library facilities but are not entitled to borrow material. The library may be used for study and research purposes, and all material may be viewed within the library building.
Please note that under the terms of our user licenses with publishers, some electronic resources are not available to external readers.

Schedule of Charges:

Individual annual fee (provides one year’s membership from date of joining): €10
IT Tallaght Graduates: €5
Students of other 3rd level institutes: €10
Concessionary (OAP's etc.): €5

 

External Borrower

As an external borrower you may access the library facilities and are entitled to borrow 2 items of library materials for 3 weeks. The library may be used for study and research purposes, and all material may be viewed within the library building.
Please note that under the terms of our user licenses with publishers, some electronic resources are not available to external readers.
