Wireless Internet Access in the Library

 

Introduction

Free wireless internet access is available in the library if your laptop is WiFi enabled.

To connect to the network:

  • Disable your firewall, as the network firewall will take it’s place, and ensure that your laptop is virus and spy ware free etc.
  • Double click on the network icon on the bottom right corner of your screen, open the Microsoft client.
  • On the wireless networks tab / list select ITT_Dublin.


To connect to the Library Access Point:

  • Once you have connected to the network open Internet Explorer
  • Accept the security certificate
  • The login page will open
  • Login with your normal login under registered users.

Please remember that the same rules govern your usage of the wireless network as govern the usage of any of ITT Dublin’s facilities.

Please note that the library catalogue is not programmed to be viewed by wap/ internet enables phones or pdas etc.

Printing is not available using the library's wireless connection.
